If you're completing court-ordered community service hours, Northside Neighborhood House (NNH) is glad to help. This page covers everything you need: where you'll serve, how to get started, and how to document your hours.

Where You'll Serve
Court-ordered volunteers are welcome to serve in our Thrift Stores on Saturdays.

Shifts are available at three NNH thrift locations:
Soddy Daisy Thrift Store
Red Bank Thrift Store
Northshore Chattanooga Thrift Store

Before You Register
When you fill out the registration form, you'll be asked for a few pieces of information related to your court order. Having these ready will make the process faster:

- The total number of hours required

- Your completion deadline

Steps to Get Started

1. Register using the court-ordered volunteer link

Use this specific link to sign up, it routes you to the right registration track: Court Ordered Registration Form

2. Complete a brief interview with our team

During the registration process, you will see a link to schedule a short conversation with us. Select a time from the options provided that works best for you. This is just a chance to get to know you, answer any questions, and confirm your placement.

3. Complete required paperwork & a background check

You'll sign a liability waiver and complete a background check through our system. Both need to be finished before you can start.

4. Sign up for your first shift

Once you're cleared, you're ready to go. See the "Signing Up for Shifts" section below.
