For more than 100 years, Northside Neighborhood House has focused on providing holistic support for our neighbors of all ages north of the Tennessee River, offering a hand up for a brighter future. Through sustainable solutions and community empowerment, we provide support and create opportunities for our community to learn, connect, and thrive. Community Schools is one of NNH's 3 core programs.
What We Do
NNH’s Community School support 10 schools north of the Tennessee River, providing integrated systems of support for students and their families. Our Community School coordinators work alongside principals, educators, parents, and community partners to identify strengths, reduce barriers, and create opportunities for students to learn, connect, and thrive. Students receive academic support, enrichment programming, and extracurricular involvement all while building relationships with trusted adults who help them feel safe, valued, and encouraged. Together, we’re building school communities where every student has the foundation they need to succeed.
